Thanks a lot for your comments! Everytime i go out there it is because everytime i remember the previous trip and how much fun it is having an adventure, even if while having it am crying like a baby! :o)
(Too busy to proofread the TR before posting it and i apologise for that. Will come around doing that as well soon.)
I laughed a lot at the part about airline travel in China. I once boarded a flight in Beijing with a samurai sword. The airport personal asked me what it was (kind of obvious, egh? A sword is a sword). A souvenir, I answered. They were satisfied with the answer and off I went towards Europe, with my sword in the hand luggage.
Yes, a really epic read!
So much hassle and bad luck, but in the end a successful climb. In some time I'm sure you and Geordie will look back at the adventure and have some good laughs. Certainly it's a trip you'll remember.
nice trip and well written but a little wrong here "Wai Wah Yip (UK/HK)",HongKong is a part of China now, please correct it
"(CHN/HK)",Thanks very much and welcome to Sichuan again all of

I know HK is part of China ad i did not meant what you thought i meant. He is a British citizen, born and raised in the UK (New castle) and who moved to HK in 1996.
The same for me (RO/GZ) - romanian citizen who moved to and lives in Guangzou.
"Geordie (Waiwah Yip in passport) is rigger and technical manager for an adventure races company in Hong Kong (Asia Pacific Adventure). Although ethnically Chinese, Geordie was born in New Castle (hence his nickname) and he’s more English than a cup of tea."
