Cool...

...slideshow w/music Kevin! Glad the only critter encounters you had were some tracks and rumbling in the brush. Maybe you should make a practice of having Taco Bell for breakfast on these trips...no animals will come within 30 feet of you then. just kidding

HAFS

Are you saying I don't have any manners in the woods, Jim? I actually didn't have any HAFS problems on this hike. Maybe the animals were nearby because I had a lot of goodies in my pack! There sure were quite a few tracks out there.

Re: HAFS

No way, I was just suggesting that Taco Bell induced HAFS could be an effective critter repellant for solo hiking. It's preventative and a lot cheaper than carrying pepper spray. Just don't be surprised if a bear comes up to you and says "Knock it off with the gas!!" ;-)

French-fry talk

"it doesn't give up its' taters easily." ...your funny with your french-fry talk! Nice report... I did think the slideshow with music was neat, but I missed the clear picture quality your usual picasaweb slideshow provides! And hey, where are your summit shots?! Where's your "Woooooooah!"
