Wilderness Fun
This was part of a 3 day, 60 miles of hiking trip that Redwic and I made by driving around different parts of Okanogan County. I broke my arm back in July so I could only use on trekking pole. When going to the summit of Bauerman Ridge it's worth checking out Teapot as well. Off-trail hikes in the Pasayten are a cinch and The Lake is really nice.

A Nice Hike, A Nice Lake
I enjoyed this off-trail summit hike. "Gimpilator" and I traversed east down from Bauerman Ridge, finding evidence of recent bighorn sheep activity along the way, and then past the Teapot Dome lake and up the slope to the summit. We then took a break on the rocky summit, eating lunch and enjoying the views. The lake on the western side looked very inviting; if it had been warmer, we would have gone swimming there.
