This is really great

Recently on Kramerspitz I was looking at the Ammergau and guessing at such possibilities. So awesome that you've done this, got a cool name for it and wrote it up!

One question, though, couldn't we make an "Extended Director's Cut" by heading north on trail 262 from the Hasenjöchl instead of descending to the Kuhalm? You get Notkarspitze, Ziegelspitz and Ochsensitz! :). Beer in Ettal, and maybe a stashed bike to get back to your car.

Again, kudos, I love this page and idea!

Re: This is really great

Oh yes, I see what you mean, this will be a veeeery loooong daaaaay and that bike tour back to the car after the Ettal Kloster beer - well, I have my doubts......;-)
But why not, the "extended version" or "Directors Cut II, the counterstrike" ...... it will be I think more than 10 hours to hike and about 2.100 m of altitude difference - in short: why not !
But I would recommend to start with Notkarspitze because the afternoon at Kienjoch and Kieneckspitze with the low sun in the west is so beautiful....
Cheers Michael

I added a couple of pictures outlining my "alptraum" ;-). Thanks again, this is a fun topic.
