The Coffins

One of the oldest protected areas in Romania dating back to 1932, Fânațele Clujului - Copârşaie (RO), Szénafűvek, Koporsók (HU),currently having an area of 137 ha, is nature reserve of botanic interest but also important from the perspective of fauna, landscape and geomorphology. Remarkable rotational slumps nicknamed "glimee", were formed as a consequence of deep-seated landslides. Cupola-shaped mound is almost 30 m tall and sometimes 400 m long arranged into authentic surge.
