Taken during the Huber Bros attempts at the record on El Capitan's The Nose. Just days after I'd signed on to shoot stills of their next attempt that Friday, Alex would injur his ankle hours before we were set to go, ending their bid that season.

I like how the light falls halfway across the face. Nice composition.

Nice! Really happy you enjoyed this! This is one of my favorite shots, for sure! Alex and Thomas had just come down from working on the record for The Nose. We were all hanigng out, having some Tecate at the bridge when I shot this. Was a good day! Lots of monkeys there.
