Totem Pole Area of Monument Valley

Totem Pole Area of Monument Valley

I was driving through nearby Kayenta and the clouds and light were spectacular. I couldn't resist the urge to drive the 25 miles up to Monument Valley, AZ/UT and spend a few hours there photographing the amazing geological features. In this image, left to right: Rooster Rock, Totem Pole (in front of Yei Bi Chei), unnamed, the the cliffs of Hunt's Mesa called Tse Biyi Yatzie, and another unnamed formation. Imaged in May 2015.

Memories

Beautiful shot Mark. Brings back Memories of my visit back in 2005, to this month already 10 years ago; time flies!

Re: Memories

Time does indeed fly--much, much too quickly!
