TumwaterHaving been up above lake Augusta, hiked Icicle ridge, and the south side of Tumwater mountain from Leavenworth and had a stupendous view of the canyon below. Lots of good climbing routes on the west face and many interesting waterfalls coming down the east side of Icicle Ridge. I always like driving to Leavenworth just to look up the deep chasm.

Cool place!Been here many a time, most recently for some schist and granite bouldering at Swiftwater.

A lot of areas to explore!I have driven through this canyon countless numbers of time. I have done some hiking on Icicle Ridge and on Tumwater Mountain, including Castle Rock. I reached the summit of Tumwater Mountain, a peak with over 2000' of prominence, today.
