East Ridge  Sucess!

Did this on a fine midsummer day with Jen Olson. I hired Jen to teach me some techniques (other than the two extremes of soloing and pitching it out) for dealing with ugly class 3/4 terrain without much meaningful pro. That description fits the East Ridge perfectly! We didn't exactly take the easiest line up, which gave us more opportunities to work on short roping technique, using terrain belays, etc. Despite the crap rock, it was a good day with amazing views all the way. I'd recommend Jen to anyone looking to hire a guide.

Unnamed-East Ridge  Sucess!

Colin and David will graduate to bigger and better things soon I am sure. Enjoyed their enthusiasm and company. A genuinely good time was had by all. Not a bad peak, particularly for views, but you can find less loose ridges to be sure. Will have to ask Barry B. why he takes clients up there, maybe he knows something I do not. Cheers.
