Looks to me that the poor visibility may have caused you to miss the summit. The true summit is about 100yds north of the buildings, winding your way along the rocky crest.
There was a reference marker (which has an arrow), but no summit marker (which would have a triangle)? I saw a reference marker, and followed where it was pointing, which terminated on a very likely place for a summit marker. I've seen half a dozen pictures of that same reference marker, including yours, but none of a true summit marker?
