Backpacking again
I wanted to relive what I used to do in summer when I was at university, at least for a day or two, I mean backpacking along the main ridge of a Carpathian mountain range. I set off from Korytnica, carrying 14 kilos on my poor back, late in the afternoon of the 23rd of August. There was no soul at Hiadeľské sedlo so I spent the night in the shelter. On the 24th I walked from the saddle to Ďurková Hut climbing several summits along the way, including Prašivá and Veľká Chochuľa. The following night was spent in my tent outside Ďurková Hut and on the 25th I climbed Chabenec and continued along the main ridge to Sedlo Poľany, then descended to Jasná.
