Why rubber boots?It looks like Victor is wearing rain boots. Does the climb go through wet terrain? Seems like a strange choice for mountain climbing.

Re: Why rubber boots?These kind of boots are pretty essential as the terrain can be very wet and muddy. Going up to your knees in mud is pretty standard, so unless you have pretty hardcore gaiters you'll want these. As the access route itself isn't technical it's not a big deal for the most part.
