Fun family hikeRocky, fun family hike. Lovely views out to the ocean and desert. Clocked it at 3.6 miles RT.

Finally ticked it off the list!Lived in SD for years and never did Viejas... Finally got it done when in town for a wedding in Alpine. Hiked to the top and jogged down - just over an hour RT. Great little climb!

West SlopeSecond peak of the day after Eagle Peak. The west slope use trail would make a great workout if you lived in the area. Nice views of El Cajon Mountain which I hiked afterwards.

Via Use TrailThis was my first SD county peak climbed (besides Cowles). Good deal of prominence and really nice views from the top.
