Short but worthwhile.
Went south for the only good weather on the island! We walked as high as is allowed (not the actual summit) but worth it to see the caldera. Great views towards Volcan Teneguia and the southern tip of the island. Clear enough to see Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro.
Hmmm, embarrassing to admit but we started from the parking lot and did the 10 minute hike in a gathering storm. Hiked down to sea level from the summit and back again so I feel I can post this summit log neverthwless :-)
