No, nothing to actually worry about. The hike in is annoying with higher springtime water levels, but on the other hand, it would be hotter than hot past April, so I guess it's a toss up. I went thigh-deep on two occasions into the quicksand and got super dirty, but I never felt like I was going into it cartoon-style. Since I know you like to take photos, make sure that you get there at mid-morning for the best light. Next time I go there I'm going to camp at the base of the hoodoos. I intended to get there at about 9am, but the water crossings, quicksand, and mud added about 3 hours.
