fun ridge, alternate access
Started up to ridge via a gully by one of the upper mining cabins. Not bad quality and quicker than going around to other side. Traverse to Pacific after.

Sunburn
Oh, I got so friggin' sunburned on this day. We had a HUGE snowpack, and the day was bright and sunny. There was no sunscreen on earth that could protect my lily white face!!!

Nice scrambling on west ridge, we summited in total whiteout, great time.

What a day! That ridge is an awesome winter climb. Even in a whiteout blizzard. Climbed with Mike B. to 300 ft from summit. I'll be back a couple more times no doubt.

great route in winter and a perfect day. almost now wind! route has a classic mountaineering feel. a must-climb in winter
