Whale Rock

Whale Rock

This little formation is found in the Santa Ana Mountains at the base and in between of Avenaloca Mesa and Mesa de Colorado. De Luz Creek runs to the west of this formation. You can chimney up the gap seen in picture or use the crack on the south side. Note: I never anticipated that this picture would get this much attention. I mainly posted it as an informative picture for the Santa Ana Mountains. It is a little of focus too! I guess you will never know what people like...

Re: That really looks

Yeah it does...I was running with my friend and he said "hey, check out this cool rock"....so I went and took a picture of it...I honestly had no idea that it would get this many votes...but there was actually a mini whale rock right next do this one...I should get some better pictures of them sometime. Cheers!

LOL...

Any pointy rock photo always gets a lot of votes (insert dirty thought here). Look at my top photos list and see!
