Epic

From a person that lives where treeline is above 11k feet, it is very interesting to see treeline so low. Even though this is such a low peak (in my standards) it is pretty epic. Looks kind of like the Indian Peaks Wilderness in Colorado.

Interesting ! Throughout the bulk of the British uplands natural tree-line woodlands and scrub has been destroyed by grazing and burning. The upper limit of the woodland that remains is generally depressed well below its potential natural limit. The true upper limit of tree growth is represented by scattered trees on crags and in other rocky places inaccessible to grazing animals.

With the snow cover in Winter the peaks of Snowdonia can be quite a formidable place, as you point out they are relatively low in statue compared to other ranges. To many people have underestimated Snowdonia and unfortunately hikers/walkers die on the peaks every year.

Would you know the actual treeline in Snowdonia? I always like to figure out treeline in places all around the world.

Not exactly but, the woodlands in Snowdonia only covers 17% of the total park !
An educated guess would be no more than 300ft, most of the bigger forestry are evergreen plantations with parts of Snowdonia with broad-leaf trees mainly Oak.

That's amazing. Rocky Mountain National Park has over 60 peaks over 12k feet (and one 14k foot one) and yet only is 1/3 above treeline!
