"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Wilderness FunThis was part of a 3 day, 60 miles of hiking trip that Redwic and I made by driving around different parts of Okanogan County. I broke my arm back in July so I could only use on trekking pole. Wolframite's proximity to the Historic Tungsten Mining Camp makes it a very interesting destination. The old cabins are a great place to sleep if you get caught in a sustained August hail storm and did not bring a tent along.

Excellent Summit AdventureI was excited to visit Wolframite Mountain once I found out a little about its impact on human influence within the Pasayten Wilderness. The off-trail section, on the western slopes, was very straight-forward... just keep going "up" to the summit. Special thanks to SP Member "Gimpilator" for accompanying me on this obscure but fun summit quest.
