Yellow Mountain from Slide Lake
Slide Lake, barely visible through the trees, was formed in 1914 when an enormous rockslide occurred on the north side of Yellow Mountain. This photo was taken above the creek that connects Slide Lake to a smaller tarn just downstream. The summit of Yellow Mountain is the flat black block near the center. Seward Mountain's snow drifted summit is visible in the far right distance.
