Peak Bagging in the Capitol State Forest.

Double Axe Warrior!!

Views from Rock Candy Mountain

Jimbopo, Josh and I were very bummed about the nasty weather this weekend. because of all the terrible storms that were kitting the higher mountains we decided to tackle a bunch of lower summit that we knew we would not go to on a normal day. We decided to head to Captial State Forest just southwest of Olympia. The peaks here are very reminisant of the Appalachians only these peaks have a ton more evergreens and clearcuts. Still despite being scarred from forestry this park has it's own inherit beauty and is worth a visit. Below are pictures from our trip to Capitol State Forest.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
