Fantastic trip! With my old climbing buddy from the 1980's Jon. Advise from Corax very helpful - thanks Janne!
Climbed Lomas Blancas 3650m via Andresito 3116m and Arendales 3350m from Ref. San Bernado then mountain of same name 4150m next day with dog from refugio. Then set out with 4 days food and fuel and camped Piedra Grande and then Campo Cancha from where we climbed Stepanek and Adolfo Calle another pair of 4000ers - before climbing Rincon 5350m in perfect conditions on 14th. Finally after a days rest back at Refugio we traversed Pico and Cerro Plata 5800m and 5967m from a high camp on Portezuela Lomas Amarilas at 4900m after sitting out some high winds at Salto and Hollada camps - on 21st Feb.
We met some great people and had a ball - and there will be a trip report and movie in due course!

Vallecitos!
I really liked this range. Climbed with Roxanna (ARG). We camped at El Salto and hit Vallecitos in a windy day. Nice views of Cordon de la Jaula and Aconcagua's south face.
