Cowboy Mountain
Climbed Cowboy Mountain on Saturday May 25 as part of a Mountaineers scrambling trip. Left the Steven's Pass parking lot around 9am with cloud cover and occasional blue skies.
Heading up
Started kicking steps on the upper slopes, no need for spikes or crampons but bring your ice ax. The approach is pretty steep and the final climb onto the summit ridge is near vertical, we left along some pretty bomber steps if you head up there!

Snowed while we were on the summit with occasional views opening up.

Down climbed the short section from the summit ridge and then glissades almost the rest of the way down.
