I love the view you captured here. Is that the trail down there? Looks like a great hike for sure. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Thanks a lot, TyeDyeTwins, you're very kind! The trail one sees on this photo is not the Geisselkopf trail, but the one known as the "Tauernhöhenweg" or high path of the Tauern, which leads all along the main chain of the Hohe Tauern at average 2400-2500 metres heighth, connecting several huts, among them the Hagen hut, which stands on the pass called Mallnitzer Tauern and of which I posted a photo as well. The whole area is full of great hikes, one of my favorite still being the Ankogel summit (I've done it five times already!).

Wonderful view!

A fantastic shoot! to some extent it certainly evocates the Pyreneean landscape.

Thank you, PereRamon! Yes, at least that particular photo you shot of the Aneto from that particular point of view really reminded me of the hike I undertook here in Austria last September!
