...I took on my hike up Geisselkopf (2974m) in the Goldberg group of the Hohe Tauern, Salzburg/Carinthia, Austria on September 1st and 2nd, 2009.I started at 10:30 a.m. from Jamnigalm on the Carinthian (south) side and went to the summit via Mallnitzer Tauern, on which the Hagen hut was built. In the late afternoon I descended to Mallnitzer Tauern, spent the night at the Hagen hut, and descended the following morning to Nassfeld-Sportgastein on the Salzburgian (north) side.
