A warm up for Belle View Bastion
A guess at the date - was around then - and I finished off the day by leading Belle View Bastion, my first 'very severe' lead.

Wet but fun
Climbed just after the rain, so most of it was quite wet (except the Knight's move, thankfully), which made it feel a fair bit harder than HVD. Great day out, fun route, glorious views...

Classic route
With Colin, Ken & Andy. Some great moves and situations. Luckily for us the rock was bone dry and the weather like summer. Brill! Reminded of an earlier ascent in September '78 with Colin, Ken & Blackie.
