Jive Chimney, 5.9R, 4 Pitches
With Angela from NE. Excellent, seldom climbed gem, a step or two down from the Labyrinth but almost as much fun. Headlamps helpful. The local modern guide book author has obviously not climbed the route and fails to discuss the crux 5.9 exit pitch which ironically offers the best climbing of the route. The main 5.9 climbing is at the beginning, to access the squeeze chimney, and at the end to exit the upper chamber to the summit. Most of the squeeze is below grade and where the R comes from. Raps Forest Lawn.
