Very hot
I suppose that when the forecast predicts a hot sunny day I shouldn't be climbing something like this. However, after taking the exit at the Kaiser Max grotto back in 2007, completing this route was always in the back of my mind. In 2015 I booked a return ticket to Innsbruck for my summer holiday, and being so close, I just had to go for it.
My via ferrata gloves did an excellent job of protecting my hands from the steel cables. However, because of the high temperature I was seriously sweating, and when I took off my gloves I found that I had earned myself a bunch of blisters...
