Introduction

In the middle of September 2011 I traveled to Canmore, Canada for a week and spent time doing some day hikes, drives and photography. One of the highlights of that week was my hike up the Plain of Six Glaciers to the Tea House. Here are some of the pictures of the mountains and area around Lake Louise from that week. We heard booms and crashes as we hiked up and then saw the small and large avalanches. I will post more on the actual hike later.

Want to go again

I love the Canadian Rockies. Thanks for the great photos. Maybe next summer we will visit them.

Re: Want to go again

It is so worth getting there! I would go back in an instant and stay longer next time; get more into the smaller parks and areas.
Thank you for looking!

I think I remember dogs on the trails. You definitely need to go; it is a spectacular place!
