Beware!
My touring partner bought these skins new and tried them out with me for the first time a couple weeks ago. They did fine for the first 3/4 of the day, but when he tried to put them on his skis for the final climb out of the day they wouldn't stick to his skis at all because some snow had gotten onto the bottom of them. I also had a bit of snow on the bottom of my skins but they still worked fine, and his should have too. He spent a good while messing with them and trying to get them to stay, but they wouldn't stick to his skis at all, so he had to bootpack up the slope to get out. He returned them the next day and got BD Ascensions, and hasn't had any problems since.
