Canyoneering Use
I bought a couple for canyoneering use because of their light weight, ample size and good price. After a few months of use, I haven't noticed the problem that Dow mentions above, but I will be vigilant for it.

I liked it
but it did wear out fast. This carabiner got grooves so deep that I threw it out after about 2 years. Price is right though.
