Stormy Weather Blues
Started in San BArtolomeo to climb Sasso Canale. On the ridge realized such heavy gusts of wind that another party which had overtaken us returned midway. We stayed on the route, hiking on the lee side of the ridge as far as possible. At 2250m had to cross the ridge, however and Judith was nearly blown off. Remembring her fall a year before we opted for the safe option returning and bagging lower Monte Berlinghera instead.
