Overview

Not important mountain, rising above Timmelsjoch Pass. From Pass only about 500 meters height difference, so we can climb to the top in about 1.5 hours.
Timmelsjoch Pass is a double border - between 1th - Italy and Austia, 2-nd - between Stubaier and Otztal Alps, so this peak is first in Stubaier Alps from west. From summit great view - especially to sea of threethousander summits of Otzaler Alps, west part of Stubaier and at south - Dolomites.

Getting There

In summer season it`s easy to get under the mountain, using the Timmelsjoch Alpine Road. Its a toll road. We can drive from Austria - Otz Valley or Italy - Val Passeira.
There`s no marked path leading to the summit of Timmelsjochberg. We must go by ridge from Timmelsjoch, slope is covered with relatively stable rock debris. Easy climbing sections can be avoided.
