Champs crowned in “Si of Relief” climb of North Bend’s Mount Si
NORTH BEND, Wash. – Peter Erickson of Seattle claimed top honors in the 2015 “Si of Relief Climb for Time”, Sunday, scaling North Bend’s Mount Si in just over 60 minutes.
Erickson, 27, running in his first timed mountain climb, scaled the 4,167-foot peak's popular climbing trail in 1 hour and 45 seconds, besting the second place finisher by 1 minute, 36 seconds.
The 4-mile, 3,700 vertical-foot, timed mountain climb attracted competitors from throughout the Puget Sound region. Read more at http://www.facebook.com/siofreliefclimb
