I traversed this classic Yorkshire Dales 'slot-canyon' solo on Sunday 11th September - and enjoyed it so much I persuaded one of my son's, Keith, to come with me when I went back to do it again a week later on 18th. On both occasions the weather was fine, there had been no recent rain - and conditions in Hell Gill were perfect. Now my other son Andrew wants to do it, so I plan to do it a 3rd time! In the meantime two other and fairly swift results have been this Canyon Page - a 1st for me and for all the UK on SummitPost - and also an 11 minute Vimeo movie, attached to the end of the page.
